FOIA is used to request access to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records. In addition, our office typically requests records from Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Office of Biometric Identity Management ‘s (OBIM), Department of State records (U.S. Embassy’s records of U.S. visa applications), ICE and immigration court records. This request gives us a thorough view of the clients’ entire records enabling us to recommend the best course of action.
